Richard (Dick) Claude Blevins, born August 13, 1935, in Hope, Arkansas, peacefully passed away surrounded by those who loved and cared for him. Always laughing and mission focused, Dick filled the lives of those around him with joy and love. He was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, Veteran, and friend. He served his nation with pride and distinction in both the United States Air Force and United States Navy for more than 23 years. Richard was a man of many passions, including: opera, bull fighting, baseball, SEC football, Civil War history, politics, spicy food, and geography. He loved deeply and will be truly missed.

He is survived by his son, Paul Blevins (Summer), his daughters, Claudia Levesque and Vanessa Kay, his sister Gail Sheasby (Al) grandchildren, Audrey, Matthew, and, great grandchildren and nephews, Jeffrey (Kasey), Bryan (Shari) and Randall (Tiffany) and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dee, and his sons Ricky and Pat.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 10 AM at Michels and Lundquist Funeral Home in New Port Richey, FL. https://www.michels-lundquist.com/

Future service to be held at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL at a date to be determined.
