Daisy T. (Rios) Johnson, 53, of Topeka, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 12, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

She was born July 20, 1968, in Alice, TX, the daughter of Pantaleon and Emilia (Gonzales) Rios.

She graduated from Topeka High School and later attended Vocational School working as a Certified Medication Aide.

Daisy was employed by Kansas Neurological Institute (KNI) for approximately 20 years.

Daisy married on September 9, 1995 in Topeka, KS.

Survivors include her husband, her children, her grandchildren, sister, her nieces, her great-nieces, her great-nephews, her father-in-law, and mother-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Rios.

Daisy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Honoring Daisy's request, cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals – Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610.
