SAN ANGELO — Osburn A. Wilson, 72, of Anson passed away Monday, July 18, 2005, in Odessa, Texas. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Darryl Williams officiating. Ozzie was born Nov. 6, 1932, in San Angelo, Texas, to his parents ELZIE WILSON SR. & LILLIE MAE (SANDERS) WILSON . He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict from 1953 to 1955. He worked for Wilson Paving. One of the things he loved to do most was to play his fiddle. He was a member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 72 in this area. He played in many local bands. Aside from his love of music, he also loved fishing and riding horses. Ozzie married Flora Jo Rotton in San Angelo on June 4, 1955, and they shared 50 beautiful years together. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving family, wife Flora Jo Wilson of Anson; three sons, Dean Wilson and his wife, Sandy, of Odessa, Robert Jay Wilson of El Paso and Tracy Wilson of Abilene; daughters Lisa Waterman of California and Lillie Ann Wilson of Anson; daughter-in-law Theresa Wilson Creelman of San Angelo; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother E. W. WILSON JR. and his wife, HELEN WILSON , of San Angelo; sister CINDY WILSON RAY and John March Doss of San Angelo; one uncle, ROBERT O. "BOB" WILSON of San Angelo; three aunts, Maggie Lou Bannert of San Angelo, Elvida Carrick of San Angelo, and Leoda Thorman of Del Rio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Brother, God opened His loving arms and received you into heaven. Your fiddle now has strings of Gold. The band of heavenly angels is waiting. "Keep On Fiddlin' Ozzie!"
