Mom loved being a nurse and helping people. She always looked forward to spending time with her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they brought her a lot of joy. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and watching Mother Angelica on EWTN.
She is survived by their seven children: Mary Anne (George) Blackwood, Quenemo, KS; Bob (Kathie) Barnett, Kingfisher, OK; Fritz (Julie) Barnett, Proctor, OK; Melanie (John) Carey, Springfield, OR; Regina Barnett, Tahlequah, OK; Jackie (Faron) Johnson, Kremlin, OK; Connie Hammer, Lawrence, KS; a total of 44 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their spouses.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert L. Barnett, and infant great-grandson Tyler John Strubel; sisters: Betty, Katherine, Marguerite, Irene, and Ruth; brothers: Joseph, John, Charles, George, Steve, James, Patrick, and a set of twins at birth.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital with Hart Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
