Alec was a beloved son, brother, grandson, family member and friend.
Those who knew Alec, even just a little, lost a young man with a kind heart. As a mother writing her son's obituary, you don't really want to talk about your child's struggles with addiction, but it is real and it is life. He most recently was on the right path to overcoming his addiction, and for that we are so very proud and thankful.
Alec was born April 24, 1991, and will be missed by his mother and step father, Charlyn and Chris Bright; his grandfather, Chuck Nimmo; his brother, Jon; his little fishing buddy, Colton Nimmo; and a very special man that was always there for him and never gave up on him, his great uncle Doyle Nimmo.
Even though he left this world to early we are thankful he is in heaven with his grandmother Carolyn and great-grandmother Velma.
Alec's services will be held at a later date and he will be laid to rest at McGee Chapel where he spent many a day caring for the grounds and always had a sense of peace while being there, and we know he is now at peace.
As a parent hug your children and tell them you love them as you never know if that will be the last.
