Mrs. Felecia Elaine Ricks Smith was born June 10, 1960, to Mary Ricks and Wilbert "Sam" Holland in Candler County, Georgia. She was called home on Friday, August 6, 2021, in Macon, GA. As a child, she resided in Metter, Georgia, where she attended the public schools of Candler County. As a young adult, she relocated to Macon, Georgia.

During the 1980's she joined the Saint James A.M.E. Church in Macon. She was very active in her church. She was a Sunday school teacher, she served as an usher, and she assisted with the elderly ministry at the nursing home on Houston Avenue in Macon. She was well versed in the Bible and would recite scriptures at a moment's notice. Sis. Smith met her husband, Mr. Randy Lee Smith at the church. Her famous words were "Two wrongs don't make a right". When someone mistreated her she would say, "God will handle it". Sis. Smith dedicated her life as a homemaker to rear her children and instill spiritual guidance in them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Megana Ricks; three brothers, George Ricks, Danny Holland, and Bill Spann and one sister, Loretha Ricks Samples.

Sis. Smith is survived by her husband, Mr. Randy Lee Smith; her four children, LaKira Troutman, Kyra Williams, Ashley S. Ricks, and Leviticus R. Smith. Her surviving brothers are Richard Butler and Kenneth Butler (Karessa), Ricky Dale Burgess (Susan), and Wilbert James Butler (Hana); Sis. Smith's surviving sisters are Margaret Hughes, Elitha Butler Lane (Kevin), and Rebecca L. McPherson Bond. Sis. Smith is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
