He was born Nov. 28, 1950 in Roanoke, son of the late Richard and Agnes Griffith Hart; his half-sister, Darlene Thompson also preceded him in death.
Rick proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam.
He enjoyed meeting and talking with people. He never met a stranger.
He was a member of the First Church of the Brethren; and a retired sales professional.
Rick enjoyed collecting Artwork, and Crystal. Before losing his eyesight he was an avid reader.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Barbara; his daughter, Amy Hart; granddaughter Iasha Hart; and numerous other family members and friends.
