Mire, LA - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at a 1:30 pm Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA for Bernice Martine Hanks Guidry, 91, who died Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne, LA.
Interment will be in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire, LA.
The Very Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington, Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include her two children, Thelma Alleman Credeur of Rayne, Jimmy Alleman and spouse Evelyn of Church Point, eleven grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father of her children, Ernest Alleman, husband, Martin Guidry, father, Joseph Hanks, mother, Azema Bearb Hanks, three children, Lerline Alleman Souileaux, Glenn Alleman, Bobby Guidry, one step son, J B Guidry, eight siblings, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be prayed Monday, August 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
