Dr. Amy Sarah Sue Price, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away on August 9, 2021 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Amy was born in Richlands, Virginia to Ethel Sue Marcum Price of Knoxville, Tennessee and the late Coy Harold Price. She was a graduate of Richlands High School. She obtained her Doctorate degree from University of Tennessee and had worked as a music teacher for the South Carolina Public School System in Charleston, South Carolina. She was an accomplished violinist.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Cregger Price.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Ethel Sue Marcum Price of Knoxville, Tennessee;

Sister, Joy Dunlavey of Loudon, Tennessee;

Nephew, Nicholas Whitlock of Loudon, Tennessee.

Graveside services for Dr. Amy Sarah Sue Price will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum #1. Entombment will follow.
