Born March 27,1965 in Oklahoma City, Lawrence Paul Williams became the firstborn to Lawrence and Martha Williams. Growing up and residing in Bethany his entire life, Paul graduated from Bethany High School in 1983. Soon after, Paul began his career as a general contractor and owner of Dun Rite Contracting. In 1998, Paul had a son, David, who is now 23 years old. Paul was actively involved as a Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts, in which his son David became an Eagle Scout.
In his 56 years on this earth, Paul was always there for his parents, making sure that chores and tasks around the house were taken care of. He loved fishing, taking trips and the great outdoors. Visiting Alaska was his favorite.
Paul was a brother, a son, a father, an uncle, and a loyal friend, but more importantly, he was a man of faith. No matter the hardships of life, Paul loved the Lord and was part of a faith community at Victory Church. His family is at peace knowing they will see Paul again one day.
He is survived by his son, David; parents, Lawrence and Martha; brother, Charles (and his wife Kim); sister, Evelyn (and her husband Stephen); nephews, Austin and Alex; and niece Ashley (and her husband Micah).
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd and Kathryn Williams, Owen and Evelyn Carter; Aunt, Lucretia Carter, Aunt, Jo Ann Clapp and Uncle, Paul Wade Williams.
Paul passed away August 8, 2021 in Oklahoma City and will be buried at Bethany Cemetery.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2pm at New Hope Worship Center, 3513 N. Geraldine Avenue, Bethany, OK 73008.
