Mr. Farris Lewis Cameron, husband of Dorothy, age 77, of Danville, KY, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021.
Farris was born in Mt. Vernon, KY, on December 23rd, 1943, a son of the late Lewis and Dolly Cameron. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Young, on July 2nd, 1993, and they enjoyed 23 years together. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and collecting junk.
Those left to celebrate his life are his wife Dorothy Young Cameron of Danville, KY; his stepchildren: Alicia Satterly of Danville, KY, Teresa Todd of Nicholasville, KY, and Anthony Todd (Shannon); his 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother Wayne Cameron of Berea, KY; and sisters Betty Fredrick of Somerset, KY, and Brenda K. Mullins of Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Louise Cameron.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Cameron at Sowder Cemetery on Friday, August 13th, 2021, with a visitation beginning at Noon, followed by a funeral service at 1pm, with Zandell Hasty officiating.
