Sheryl loved the Lord and her family most of all. The kitchen was her happy place and where her family always gathered. She was a gifted cook, seamstress and gardener. Spending time with her family and feeding them was her greatest joy. Sheryl loved music, and particularly hearing her grandkids sing. "Grandma Sheryl" loved and lived for her nine grandkids.
Sheryl is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Paul EG Taylor; two daughters, Leah Canaday of Palm Harbor, Florida and Lori Durnil and husband Curt of Ellettsville, Indiana. One sister, Donna Neff of Denison, Texas; two brothers, Doyle and Michael Armor of Calera, OK. Her nine grandchildren, Taylor & Emily Rice of Palm Harbor, FL and Jack, Sam, Joe, Sara, Jesse, John, and Aria Durnil of Ellettsville, IN.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Odies & Norma Armor; her parents-in-law, Jesse and Ola Belle Taylor and her brothers Jerry & Richard Armor.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 14 from 11a-1pm, with a service beginning at 1pm at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with graveside service to follow at Chambersville Cemetery. Services are to be conducted by Minister Steve Baker.
