Jasper Lollar 85 of Poagville passed away at his home on August 9, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was a mason and a member of Solomon Lodge # 126 in Independence, MS. Jasper was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth "Liz" Lollar, his parents, Henry and Cora Lollar sisters, Etta Lou Mann and Lucy Walls, and brother, Henry Lollar Jr. He had four daughters Debbie Collins (Rick) of Poagville, Jean Davis of Senatobia, Nancy Farrow (Brian) of Barr and Susan Lollar of Poagville and two sons Robert Lollar (Gail) of Sardis and Roy Lollar (Jamie) of Senatobia. Grandchildren Kenny Brizendine (Michelle), Nikki Simpson (John), Rikki Brizendine (Carl), Grant Davis, Sam Davis (Ashley), and Dakota Farrow (Shelby) and 4 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 pm Friday, August 13th, 2021 at Hernando Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Dean Crawford Cemetery in Coldwater, MS.
