Patricia A. Decker, 68, passed away unexpectedly at her home Saturday (August 7, 2021). Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.

Born November 12, 1952, in Cornwall, Ontario the daughter of Arthur A. and Lorna (Merkley) Bolster. She was a graduate of Brushton-Moira Central School and SUNY Plattsburgh. Following college, she moved to Syracuse and worked at Marble Farm Dairy managing a store. After some time in Syracuse, she decided to move back home and formed a partnership with siblings for the ownership and management of Bolsters IGA in Brushton, NY. In 2002, she and her husband Ronnie purchased a bowling alley (Big Ds House) in Moira, NY that is still currently in operation. Along with her ownership and management of Big Ds House, she worked in the elementary library and classroom as a teacher's aide for the Brushton-Moira School district.

Pat loved to bowl, read, camp, and go on family trips. She always put others before herself and dedicated numerous summers volunteering to direct the Brushton-Moira Summer program.

Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her husband Ronnie, her mother, Lorna of Brushton, and her son Jason (Iris) Decker of Syracuse.

She is survived by her bother, Ian Bolster and his companion, Susan Bowen of Moira, sister Lois (Richard) Charlebois of Brushton, sister-in-law Linda Disotelle Bolster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father Arthur, brother Wayne, brother Brent, and sister-in-law Linda Holmes Bolster.
