OBITUARY

Marion Frederick "Freddie" Cox, Jr., 58, of Ward, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021.  He was born December 10, 1962 to the late Marion Frederick Cox, Sr. and Carolyn Ruth Hollis Cox.  Freddie loved to go fishing and hunting.  He also enjoyed motorcycles and classic cars.  His greatest joy was his family and he couldn't wait to host the family reunion every year.  In addition to his parents, Freddie was also preceded in death by two infant brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Cox; daughter, Carolyn (Matthew) Cookro; grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Sumler and Marion Elizabeth Boulanger; sisters, Rhonda Sue (David) Anderson and Betty Ruth (Clyde) McGregor; brother, John Allen Cox and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 13, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Monk Cemetery.
