JULIE'S OBITUARY
Julie R. Duncan, the daughter of Jim Duncan and Judy Ferguson passed away in her home on August 9th 2021 at the age of 51 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor her memory.

She is proceeded in death by her brother; Brian Duncan, grandparents; Ralph and Dessie Grogan, Helen and Noble Duncan. Survived by her father; Jim Duncan & wife Judy Duncan, mother; Judy Ferguson & husband Bill Ferguson, Significant other; Wayne Thompson, Step-sister; Amanda Jackson, Step-brothers; David & Ronnie Ferguson, Son; Derringer Mooney & wife Adrienne Mooney, Grandsons; Weston Mays & Gage Mooney.

Julie graduated from Eminence High School and attended Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She moved back to Eminence, MO and worked at the city office and had many other jobs throughout the years. She was a member of the Jacks Fork Country Church. She enjoyed being with her church family & being involved in all the activities. She was very strong in her Christian faith, anyone who knew Julie, knew that she loved the Lord.

The simplest pleasures in life, such as spending time with her son Derringer or riding backroads on the side-by-side to explore nature and flowers with Wayne and her grandson Gage, brought the greatest joy to Julie. In her spare you could find her painting, crafting, or baking. She was a loyal mother, daughter, and friend to so many! She was a blessing to all who knew her. Her best friend, Jenni Dodson called her "Sunshine" because she wore a smile no matter what she was going through and always kept a positive attitude.

Our loss is heaven's gain. Julie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
