Willie Dean Ballance, age 72, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. He was born to the late Hubert Eugene Ballance and Mary Holloway Ballance on July 30, 1949, in Winona, MO.

Willie married his high school sweetheart Ouida Lambert Ballance on August 21, 1965, to this union was born Vicky Lynn Ballance and Keith Allen Ballance.

He was a member of Poyen Assembly of God Church, where he served as a deacon, senior leader, and on the security team. He was a mechanic and truck driver. Willie enjoyed working on cars. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Eugene Ballance; son, Keith Allen Ballance (who was tragically killed in a logging accident on August 12, 1997); and three brothers, Gene Ballance, Donald Ballance, and Junior Ballance.

Survivors, mother, Mary Ballance of Fordyce; wife of 56 years, Ouida Ballance; daughter, Vicky Lynn Lawrence (Mike) of Carthage; grandchildren, Brandon Puckett (Amber), Anthony Ballance, Miranda Wolf (Stephen), Blake Puckett (Summer Moore), Jerrica Luster (Eric) and Becca Rogers (Gavin Porter); great-grandchildren, Dylan Therkeild, Heath Ballance, Rachel Ballance, Blayden Whitley, Addison Lybarger, Jaycee Wolf, Cole Puckett, Joshua Luster, Avery Luster, Hailey Luster, Tallen Luster, Huntley Porter, Josie Porter, and Everly Puckett; brother, Larry Ballance (Cindy) of Leola; sister, Patricia Denton of Winona, MO; daughter-in-law, Mary Therkeild (Darren) of Malvern and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 10:00 am at Taylor Cemetery with Reverend Jason Keisler officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Poyen Assembly of God Church members and the security team.

The family request that you wear a mask and social distance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regency Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
