John was retired from Massac Unit 1, where he worked as a Custodian and was of the Christian faith.
John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Denice McCutcheon; children, Johnny McCutcheon, Chris McCutcheon, and Laura Fasolo and husband Josh; grandchildren, Braden Fasolo, Caleb Fasolo, Matthew Fasolo, Samuel Fasolo, Lillian McCutcheon, and Madeline McCutcheon; sisters, Andrea Riepe and husband Vernon and Erin Evans and husband Steve; brother, Jim McCutcheon and wife Shannon; sister-in-law, Marcia McCutcheon; several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sharon McCutcheon; son, Matthew McCutcheon; sister, Elizabeth Parmley; brother, Robert McCutcheon.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening August 16, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
