Martha J. Scribner, 93, a resident of Union City, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at The Waters of Union City.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM Monday, August 16, 2021 in Obion County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Justin Heins officiating.
H.B Dodd, Adam Scribner, Matt Riley and Jake Green will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Scribner was born in Brighton, TN May 2, 2021 to the late Jess and Ruby Farmer Horn. She worked for many years at the old Brown Shoe Company. She sewed for many years for people in the community.
Mrs. Scribner is survived by her daughter, Jackie Dodd Watkins and her husband Mike of Covington; grandchildren, Heather Dodd of Nashville, Jennifer Barnes of Martin, Samantha Witherington and her husband John of Martin, Olivia Riley and her husband Matt of Union City, H.B. Dodd and his wife Brooke of Union City, Adam Scribner and his wife Holly of Union City, Gretchen Scribner of Dallas, Texas and Mickey and Logan Watkins of Covington; 13 great-grandkids and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scribner was also preceded in death by her son, Yates Scribner, and husband, James Scribner.
