Mr. Hensley is predeceased by his parents, Reeva Mehailescu and James W. Hensley. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and retiree of Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a pipe-fitter in Shop 56.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two children, Youssef and Tiffany Hensley, and their mother Eman Hensley; siblings James A. Hensley and wife Leanna of Wylliesburg, VA, Brenda Wells of Chesapeake, VA, Patsy Hensley of Chesapeake, VA, 16 nieces and nephews, and a dear friend Sing Gordola.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 11 the Great Bridge Chapel of Holloman-Brown Funeral Home & Crematory, 524 Cedar Road. The funeral service will will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday August 12, 2021 at the funeral home. Rev. Sammy Gunter will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the burial.
