Johnny H. Gonzales, son, brother, nephew, cousin, father, a fighter, a loyal friend whom rarely minced words, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at CRMC Fresno

Johnny was born September 4, 1962 in Madera Ca to Mary G. Gonzales-Molina and the late Raymond E. Gonzales. Johnny spent a good portion of his life razing mischief while creating lifelong friendships and memories in Santa Clara Ca where he received his education. At 18 years old he joined the United States Navy where he spent a few years exploring around the world but eventually found his way back home to Madera Ca.

Johnny loved hanging out with friends from all walks of life, visiting with family, helping the less fortunate and caring for his beloved cats. Johnny was rarely seen without his well-known smile and enjoying a good laugh. He was extremely loving, loyal, caring and giving person, always thinking of others.

Johnny leaves behind to cherish his loving, unforgettable memories, his 2 children, daughter Ylicia Marinah Gardner (TJ Gardner), son Johnny Ray Gonzales, his 2 grandchildren, Preston Brady Gardner and Kailyn Bailey Gardner, 2 sisters, Hortensia "Ortie" Lawrence (John Lawrence), and Carolyn "Carrie" Rosel (Joe Rosel), 8 nieces and nephews, Issac Vasquez, Rachael O'Neill, Nicole Duncan, Matthew Vasquez, Jimmy Serrano Jr., Jennifer Serrano, Angel Andrade Jr., and Andrew Andrade and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Johnny will be greatly missed but always remembered.

Recitation of the Rosary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 20, 2021 10:30 a.m. Rosary and 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA
