Juanita Horne, age 62, of Alachua, Florida died on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at her home.
Born April 22, 1959. She was a member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher. Ms. Horne was a graduate of Santa Fe High School, Class of 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Bessie Horne, and one (1) sister, Barbara Horne.
She leaves to cherish her memories in the hearts of; one (1) brother; Otis Norwood of Gainesville, FL; two (2) sisters; Betty J. Horne of Alachua, FL, and Brenda Burch of Manhattan, KS.; other relatives and caring friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chestnut Memorial Chapel.
Graveside services for Ms. Horne will be held at 4:00 PM at Damascus Cemetery, 17900 NW County Road 236, Alachua, FL 32615, with Gregory Pelham officiating.
