Alamogordo - W W Fountain (Woody) was born February 21, 1919 in Frisco City, Alabama in a village called Tekoa. He came to know the Lord at the early age of 12 and would later answer the call to ministry in his teenage years and serve as pastor for 71 years. He graduated from high school in Crestview, Florida and later went on to graduate from Bob Jones University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Fountain had the privilege of serving the Lord as Pastor of churches in six states from Florida to New Mexico while establishing 3 churches from ground up, 2 of which are in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was a truly faithful servant of God. The life he lived was a reflection of the message he preached; truly a man of his words. His desire in retirement was to give all he could to missions. He had been a member of many civic organizations, too many to list. He was married to the late Iverle Lawson of Crestview, Florida for 56 years.
