Nancy "Raines" White 74, of Providence, NC. passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, at the Hospice of Rockingham – Gibson House in Reidsville, NC. Mrs. White was born November 6, 1946, to the late Lillie Mae "Walker" Raines and the late Joseph Harrison Raines. Mrs. White was a member of Stateline Baptist Church and served as the church treasurer. Nancy retired as the head secretary of Abercrombie Oil company.
Mrs. White is survived by her sister Sandra Raines Pritchett, her nephews, Joey Wilkerson (Tracy) of Ringgold, VA., Tim Wilkerson (Jody) of Providence, NC., her nieces, Jamie Chaney (Donny) of Danville, VA, Julie Crowder of Rustburg, VA, and by her 2 very special dogs Lilly and Tank. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Nathan Roy White, Jr.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Norris West End Chapel. A Visitation will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Norris West End Chapel. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of the sister, Sandra Pritchett.
