Over the years he was employed as a Construction Driver; by the Town of St. Albans; VTRANS; and finally Champlain Cable in 1966. He retired in 1992.
He played music locally for over 50 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by two sons and their families; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; six siblings (5 sisters and 1 brother); and friends
Predeceased by his ten siblings, Arietta Demar of Saint Albans, VT, Doris Burns, Mona Olson, Dorothy Hance, Henry Jones, Robert Wesley Jones, Alan Jones, James Ralph Jones, Henrietta Shappy, and Roberta Scott.
