Funeral services for Ms. Annie Julia Brown, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2 PM at the graveside in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 368 Bill Oliver Road, Wrightsville, Georgia. Pastor Perry Burden will deliver the eulogy.
Ms. Annie Julia Brown was born on April 29, 1952, to the late Mr. Willie T. and Mrs. Lizzie Butler. She attended Dock Kemp School in Johnson County. She was employed by the Johnson County Board of Education and a Housekeeper for many years. Ms. Brown was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. During her membership she served on the kitchen committee and a member of the choir until her health began to decline. She passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at the Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.
Ms. Brown is survived by her sisters, Lillie Butler, Alvenia Gilbert, Ernestine (A.C.) Oliver, Vera (Leon) Davis, Ella Butler, Janice Dixon, and Alzonia Butler all of Wrightsville, Georgia; brothers, Ernest (Christine) Butler of Dublin, Georgia and Willie Butler of Wrightsville, Georgia; devoted nieces, Felicia Graddy and Jennifer Jones; devoted nephew, Shon Butler; godchild, Janetta Butler; and a host of devoted nieces and nephews.
