Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ada (Morrill) DiSalvo.
Marsha received her education in cosmetology and worked as a hairdresser. She then worked at the University of RI for many years. In her loving nature, she chose to change careers in order to help others as a CNA for the Perspectives Group Home. Marsha enjoyed ceramics, and scrapbooking. She loved spending time with family, vacationing, and going out on the boat.
In addition to her husband, Chuck, she is survived by her four children, Dawn Cervone (fiancé, Francis "Rich" Richey), Steven Haberek (fiancée, Kerilynn "Keri" Catania), and Mary Osborne (husband, Jonathan), Donna Shaw (husband, Gordon); a daughter-in-law, Christine Austin; 8 grandchildren, David Shaw (wife, Elizabeth), Amanda Cervone, Haley Shaw, Aaron Cervone, Makayla Wilkes, Coral Austin, Dylan Wilkes, and Carlie Austin; four great-grandchildren, Saint, David, Ella, and Emaline Shaw; a sister, Mary Taylor (husband, Ronald); two sisters-in-law, Laurie DiSalvo and Elaine DiSalvo. Marsha also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her two sons, Michael Haberek and Charles "Chuck" Austin; and three brothers, Joseph, Henry, and Daniel DiSalvo.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 9 am on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown. Her burial will follow in the RI Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
