He was born in Hanover, NH on April 7, 1938 the son of Everett and Olive A. (Rickard) Brown.
Mr. Brown had been a welder for Joy Manufacturing and also worked for Holsoms in Claremont, NH. He did maintenance work at Sturm Ruger for over 10 years retiring in 2003. He had lived in Newport, NH for over 40 years, moving to FL in 2009.
Leonard was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Mauna L. (Morey) Brown in 2002 and a sister, Carol Cote. Members of his family surviving include four children, Leonard Brown, Sr. of Newport, NH, Ellen Manning of Bradford, NH, John Brown of Sunapee, NH and Melissa Lique of Chester, VT; six grandchildren, Angela, Leonard, Jr., Becky, Mark, Corrine and Andrew ; one brother, Cedrick Brown of Newport, NH; two sisters, Constance Brown of Claremont, NH and Carmen Henault of Newport, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family and burial will be in Elkins Cemetery, Elkins, NH.
