Robert Lewis Gross
June 14, 1942 - July 17, 2021
Morro Bay, California - My courageous, loved husband, Bob Gross, passed away July 17, 2021 in my arms.
Robert Lewis Gross was born to Dr. & Mrs. Louis Gross of Detroit, Michigan.
Bob had a passion for high-end speaker building and designing throughout our
56 years of marriage. He participated in the CES Las Vegas show, Speaker
reviews in several audio magazines, and received the Golden Ear Award.
His regular daytime job was working for Kern County Superior Court for 32 years as a court reporter. No matter where, Bob had a gift for stirring up laughter with his own unique dry wit.
Moving to Morro Bay was a retirement dream, as well as riding his bicycle throughout Morro Bay and hanging out with friends at the gym, Fitness Works. Thank you, Fitness Works for creating a warm and friendly environment.
Bob worked so hard to maintain his health throughout the years through; bicycling, gym workouts, Wellness at Sport Therapy, Therapy Works, Home Care, and during Covid with his trainer, Tara.
Thank you to all, for your kindness and gentle ways. With my love, Bob.
I want to thank The Garden House and Hospice for all the compassionate souls who rallied around Bob as a team, to maximize his comfort with respect and honor. I want to thank the gracious Morro Bay Fire Department for assisting Bob in his time of need.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Robbin Gross, brother, Dr. Jonathan Gross (Christine), and their children, Julia and Pablo. Plus, numerous relatives and friends.
In memory of Bob, be kind and spread the joy of laughter.
