Mr. Henry Washington Beard was born November 25, 1958 in Texarkana, Arkansas to James Washington and Aurdlee Walker. He was raised by foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Dale and Hattie Beard. Henry was a member of First Baptist Church in Okolona Mississippi and graduated from Okolona High School in 1977. Henry met the love of his life Maggie and they were married June 3, 1981 and together they enjoyed 40 years of marriage.

Henry was a hard worker and provided well for his family. He also enjoyed fishing, spending quality time with family and friends. A man that lived his life to the fullest and often did things his way, which was one of his songs, "I Did It My Way."

Henry leaves behind to cherish his memories; Wife- Maggie R. Beard, Daughter- Lamelia Bellamy, Son- Derrick Beard, Step-sons- David Young, Lamont Lunderman, Robert Lunderman, Sister- Mary Moore, Brother- Joniel Washington, Don Washington, 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Antonio Henson-grandson.

Visitation Saturday, August 14, 2021, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Hooker Funeral Home. Interment Monday, 10 a.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, Ky.
