Born Jan. 22, 1978, she was the daughter of James Hoyt Sr. and Kathleen (Hye) Hoyt of Curwensville.
Ms. Hoyt was most recently the co-owner and office manager of a contracting company in New Bethlehem but had spent many years working in the executive assistant/human resources role for companies like Uber, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Meakem-Becker Venture Capital, Miller Welding and Abbott Furnace in the western Pennsylvania/Pittsburgh area.
She was a 1996 graduate of Curwensville Area High School and attended Lock Haven University, Clearfield Campus.
She is survived by her father; brother James Hoyt, Jr. and wife Jeanne of Curwensville; two nieces; three aunts, Gretchen Dunlap and husband Mike of Olanta, Maxine (Mickey) Hoyt of Woodland, and Coreen Hoyt of Kane.
She was preceded in death by her mother, paternal grandmother Geraldine Hoyt, and uncle Donald (Nester) Hoyt.
A private burial service was held Friday, Aug. 6 for immediate family at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Olanta.
