KEVIN GRAY LIMA — Kevin K. Gray, age 57 of Lima, died at 5:29 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Lima Memorial Health Care System.
He was born November 18, 1959 in Lima, Ohio to Carl C. and Irva Claude Gray. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Lima. On July 22, 2000. He married Sharon Mechling who survives.
Kevin graduated from Perry High School in 1978 and then graduated from Lima Technical College with an Associate Degree. He attended Central Christian Church. Kevin's passions included farming, old cars, collecting antique signs, oil cans, and farm machinery. He loved visiting with people, especially his buddies at the coffee shop and diving into family history. He will be remembered for his stories and jokes.
Also surviving are 2 step sons - Mark Junkins of Ohio; John (Amy) Junkins of Lima; 6 step grandchildren - Mark, Jr., Chris, Eric, David, Amari, Eliana; a sister - Kellee (Pat) Johnson of Ada; a nephew - Bobby, a niece - Kylee; a step niece - Kristi (Tony) Hensley.
Preceding him in death is a niece - Shellee and a nephew - Joseph.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017; 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Dr. Norman Witthuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Branch Cemetery, near Waynesfield.
