Mr. David William Rouse, 61, of Waycross died Friday, August 6, 2021 at Memorial Satilla Health after a brief illness. He was born in Waycross to the late William Monroe "Hodge" Rouse and Elouise Melton Rouse. David was an expert brick mason and a member of West Carswell Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors, fishing and watching sports. More than anything, he loved his family, and any moment he was able to spend with them.
David is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Rouse of Brunswick and Jamie Griffin (Kevin Griffin) of Hoboken; seven grandchildren, Madison Bell, Mallory Rouse, Mason Rouse, Mitchell Bell, Tristin Emerson, Heidi Breeden and Karla Griffin; one brother, William Rouse and his wife Christine of Waycross, one sister, Sandra Bechiom of Waycross, three nephews, Kenneth Bechiom (Hannah Cox), Joshua Rouse, and Christopher Rouse, and numerous other relatives.
