Charles Herbert George passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Marie George nee Simpson of O'Fallon, Missouri.

He is survived by his son, Rodney (Lisa Wood) George of Naples, FL; daughter, Karen (Dennis) Forrester of Lake St. Louis, MO; grandson, Chad George; two granddaughters, Tiffany (Andy) George, Rachael (Eric) George; three great-grandchildren, Hayden Engles, Grayson Engles, Henry Turin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Hadley George, mother, Ruth Ione George, brother, Jerry Wallace George, grandson, Michael Forrester, great-grandson, Dustyn Brasel.

Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis. He enjoyed golf and square dancing. He was the "toy" for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles was married to Marie Simpson on November 4, 1948 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
