Beverly Joyce Daniel was called from labor to reward on August 5, 2021, in Clara Maass Hospital, Belleville, NJ. She was the third child born to the late Willie E. and Lucretia Fields Daniel on August 31, 1953. Beverly was raised in Newark, New Jersey and was educated in the Newark Public School System. She attended the Burnet Street School and Central High School.

While at Central, she was the Captain of the Twirling Squad. After High School, she went to work for the now defunct Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company, in Newark NJ. After Mutual Benefit Life closed, she went to work for the City of Newark in the Tax Collection Department. Beverly attended Chef School in New York City to sharpen her cooking skills. She was known for her cakes, pies, banana pudding and Thanksgiving Dinner rolls. Her love of family was shown in her cooking and feeding the family at Family dinners and other occasions. Beverly's other passion was traveling, domestically and internationally. She encouraged Marquisa to take a vacation every year. As a Mary Kay Consultant she was involved in attending the Conferences in Texas as often as she could. She loved to try new makeup and the Mary Kay products. She retired from the City of Newark in 2020.

Beverly was a faithful member of the NIA Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Pastor Alphonsus Platt. She served as the Head Usher of the Usher Board for several years. She also served in other capacities wherever she was needed. Her service will be missed by her fellow parishioners on Sunday morning.

Every mother has her pride and joy, and Beverly's pride and joy was her daughter Marquisa.

She nurtured and encouraged Marquisa through school and life situations, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (P3) and a Master's Degree in School Counseling. Beverly knew all of the children that were in Marquisa's class by name during this last school year while the children were experiencing Virtual / Hybrid learning. She maintained her interest and support in every aspect of Marquisa's life endeavors.

Beverly, known affectionately to the family as Aunt Beb, leaves to celebrate her life and legacy Marquisa Daniel, her daughter, her siblings; Linda D. James (Herbert) of Union, NJ; Vivian D. Henderson (Brentley- deceased) of South Orange, NJ; Jacqueline D. Henry (Antionne) of Irvington, NJ; Wilma D. Carson (Daniel) of Richmond, Virginia; William E. Daniel (Elmira) of Rahway, NJ; Zina C.
