Karen Haney Greene, 65, of Fletcher, NC passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Karen was born in Yancey, NC on September 4, 1955, to the late Letcher and Wilma Haney.
Karen worked as a manager in the restaurant industry for many years. She was a devoted Christian who loved her family, children, and animals. Karen was a skilled seamstress and loved to sew in her free time.
Karen is survived by her daughters, Melisa Wischow of Hendersonville, NC and Melinda Adams (Paul) of Lake Lure, NC; grandchildren, Natalie Wischow of Mills River, NC, Tabitha Adams-Rutherfordton and Robert "Bobby" Adams of Asheville, NC, and Paul Adams, Jr. of Lake Lure, NC; great-grandchildren Ezer Repasky, Joey Repasky, and Jaidyn Taylor; sister, Regina Buckner of Swannanoa, NC; and brothers, Eric Haney of Mills River and Edwin Haney of Fletcher, NC.
A visitation will be held at Shuler Funeral Home in Hendersonville, NC on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 10-11AM with the funeral service to follow at 11AM. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
