BRAMWELL— Jessie Frances "Pom" Hill Eller, 87, of P.O. Box 221, Bramwell 24715, passed away peacefully at Bluefield Regional Medical Center, Bluefield on Monday, April 10, 2006.
She was born on June 24, 1918 in Bramwell to the late Jesse Franklin Hill and Maude McBride Hill. Mrs. Eller was a lifelong resident of Bramwell and a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two children, a daughter, Janet Lee Gomez Yanis and a son, Warren Clark "Bill" Eller; one brother, Clifton Hill; and three sisters, Mamie Bailey, Charlotte Boyd, and Louise Goodson.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years, Robert L. Eller of Bramwell; daughter, Beverly Aker and husband Earl of Elizabethtown, Ky.; sons, Robert Michael Eller and wife Kelly of Bramwell, and Wesley Eller and friend Cindy Dalton of Princeton. Brothers are Hugh Hill of Columbus, Ohio, and Lindy Hill of Highland Springs, Va. Sisters are Ency Allen of Bramwell, and June Bailey and husband Leonard of Bluefield.
Grandchildren are Consuelo Brennan, Les Aker, Jane Aker Nix, Christina Waguespack, Gerard Gomez, Kevin Eller, Justin Eller, Jessica Eller, Erin Eller, and Christy Cornett. Great grandchildren are Gregory and Caroline Brennan, Les Jr. and Bridget Aker, Nicholas, Melody, and Andrew Waguespack and Madeline Eller.
Funeral services will be held at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sam Cale III officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home today, April. 12, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m.
