She was united in marriage to Jerry Rowe on September 12, 1965 in Juda, WI. The two of them met at Turner Hall in Monroe, WI at a dance. They moved to the Rowe Family Farm outside of Wiota. Marge worked at the Monroe Clinic for 2 years until deciding to stay at the farm to raise their family and help with chores. In 2020, Marge and Jerry sold the farm to their son Alan and retired to their home outside of Darlington where they have resided since.
Marge is survived by her husband Jerry at home; her children: Allen (Trisha) Rowe of Darlington, Lynn (Jay) Girotto of Belleview, WA, LeAnn (Randy) Leahy of Darlington and Jason (April) Rowe of Cuba City, WI; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one brother: Larry (Marci) Ziltener of Monroe, WI; a niece: Erica Brownell; and two great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marge was a member of Apple Grove Lutheran Church and Van Matre homemakers. Shel loved to dance, play cards – especially 500, hasenpfeffer and euchre, and going for Sunday rides. She enjoyed watching plays at the Fireside Theatre and rangering around the farm with her grandchildren. Marge was known by her family to be a great cook and baker – especially pie. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren creating memories they will all remember forever.
Burial will be in Apple Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery.
