Phoebe Moore Dail, 87, died August 17, 2017, at Cypress Glen Retirement Center in Greenville.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 3 pm in the Brown Chapel at Cypress Glen.
She was born to James and Mildred Wooten Moore on September 11, 1929, and grew up in the Wooten Crossroads community of Lenoir County, NC. Phoebe married Charles Franklin Dail (Frank). Together they owned and operated Tadlock Insurance for a number of years. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Phoebe was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1989.
She is survived by cousins Mary Bryan Cooper (Ed), Robert Wooten (Phyllis), Sarah Pollock, Anson Sharpe, Frances Morris (Carl), Luellen Hining (Greg), Patsy Kelly, Lillian McIver (Ron) and Jean Raganus, with many cousins, children, and grandchildren.
