Graveside services for Charles Steele, 80 of Branson, will be Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in Mtn. Grove Cemetery, Branson with Keith Steele officiating.

Charles Monroe Steele was born on March 21, 1941 in La Plata, Missouri to Forest and Dorothy (Anderson) Steele. From the time of his youth, Charles was always on the move, industrious and creative. Rather than buying, he would make things himself. He was a jack of all trades and a master of something, he would joke. He was also a force to be reckoned with when he got on his Bobcat and did excavation. You wouldn't find Charles sitting down, he always had something to do or somewhere to go. He loved his family and country music.

Charles was married 56 years to his beautiful wife, Beverly Jean Steele. They were married on December 30, 1962 in Atlanta, MO and she passed away in 2019. Charles had worked as a roll test inspector with Ford Motor Company. He and Beverly moved to Branson from Independence, MO sixteen years ago. Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church in Branson.

Charles entered into rest on August 7, 2021 at his home in Branson.

He is survived by his son, Brian Keith Steele and wife Sandra and grandchildren, Caleb Steele and Kimberly Steele.

Donations are requested in Charles' memory to Boys Town, www.boystown.org or First Baptist Church of Branson, 400 S. Sunshine St., Branson, MO 65616.
