Mrs. Mollie Price Linney, aged 68, widow of the late A. C. Linney, died at her home in this city July 8, 1939. She was the daughter of Price Bunton and Albertine Roach Bunton. Early in life she united with the Ebenezer Christian church and later moved her membership to the Harrodsburg Christian church, where she has been an active and faithful member. She was married in 1888 to A. C. Linney and to this union five children were born. The three who survive are Mrs. Willie Wright, Cornishville; Mrs. Charles Sewell, Harrodsburg; and Bradford Linney of North Vernon, Ind. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Lena Currens, Cincinnati, and a brother, G. R. Bunton, Mattoon, Ill., and thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, by the Rev. Kenneth Davidson, of Cornishville, assisted by the Rev. Grady Guyton, of Enid, Oklahoma, as her pastor, the Rev. T. Hassell Bowen, is out of town. Burial was in Providence cemetery. The bearers were Paul Freeman, Ed Freeman, Commie Currens, Jack Allin, Elwood Burgin and Ralph Wright.
