Barbara Baldwin Browning passed away in Boise, Idaho on August 7th, 2021. She was 91 at the time of her death. She was born on April 7th, 1930 to Norman Poppleton Browning and Lula Miller Baldwin, in Wellsville, Utah. She graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond, Utah in 1948. She was called to serve on a mission to Norway in 1953. She was released from the mission field on September 8th, 1955. Following her release, she was able to travel Europe for three months. She was very grateful for this opportunity.
She met Lowell Dean Browning at a missionary conference in Oslo, Norway while in the mission field. Following their missions, on June 8th, 1956, they were married in the Logan, Utah temple for time and all eternity. At about this time, they moved to Boise to manage Browning Freight Lines. The family business was a common carrier freight line serving between Utah and Idaho.

Barbara was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many church callings. She and Lowell served in the Boise, Idaho temple and served a couples mission in Norway from 2001-2003.

Barbara is survived by her six children; Brent of Roseville, California, Reed (Jennifer) of West Jordan, Utah, Bruce (Suzanne) of Vancouver, Washington, Sharon (Dan) of Eagle, Idaho, Scott (Julie) of Pocatello, Idaho, and Stan (Lisa) of Boise, Idaho. Her posterity includes 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, and more coming. She is survived by her brother, Larry Baldwin of Roy, Utah.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Dean Browning, her father, Norman Poppleton Baldwin, her mother, Lula Miller Baldwin, her one sister, ReNee Miller Baldwin, and her two brothers, Norman Miller Baldwin and Richard Miller Baldwin.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, on Monday, August 16th, 2021 in the LDS Chapel, located at 5900 Castle Dr. Boise, Idaho. The family will greet friends and family on Monday morning from 10 AM - 10:45 AM, prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery.
