Carolyn A. Cox, 75 died on Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was born October 10, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Carolyn was a teacher's assistant for Jeffersontown Elementary School and Bowen Elementary School. She was an active member of Middletown Methodist Church, and an avid traveler. She was someone who had the biggest heart, the most generous, and was someone who loved all and was loved by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Murphy and Margaret Kirk Murphy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Daniel Cox, two daughters: Amanda Duncan and Lisa Brooks, two step children: Marsi Arcaro (Richard), and Sean Cox (Allison), two grandchildren: Trevor Duncan and Oliva Duncan, 7 step grandchildren, three brothers: Ronnie (Sharon), Bobby (Debbie), Jimmy (Carol), and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218). Visitation will be from 11 AM until the service time of 2 PM at the funeral home on Thursday.
