Linda Stermer Adkins, 76, of Sutherlin, passed away, August 8, 2021. She was born February 20, 1945 in Corning, NY, to late Maynard G. Stermer and Beatrice Edwards Stermer. She moved to Danville with her parents in 1961. She worked for several attorneys in Danville. She then worked with her son, Jesse Meadows, in Chatham. She also loved to bowl, travel with husband and dancing.
Survivors include her husband, Danny J. Adkins; stepchildren, Jeff Adkins (Tammy), Tracy Moss (Jeff), Amy Davis (Rusty); a granddaughter; 7 step-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Slater and Marcia Stermer. She was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald; son, Jesse W. Meadows, III; a step-grandson, Matthew Adkins.
Burial will be at Danville Memorial Gardens.
