David R. Cobb, 68, of Enfield and Suffield, was born into a loving family on August 25, 1952 in Louisville, KY, son of the late Russell and Norma (Nissen) Cobb and later joined by a sister, ChrisAnne. Russell Cobb's jobs had the family move many times and David experienced much early on.

He participated in the usual sports, but a chance trip to Lime Rock Park sparked his interest like nothing before. He became a member of the Sports Club of America in 1973. This enabled him to be a race worker traveling all over the U.S. and Silverstone, U.K. He also found a true appreciation for nature and wildlife. He was a member of the ASPCA helping to promote changes through petitions and law changes.

He attended Suffield Academy, Alfred University where he earned a bachelor's degree. Additionally, he earned an MBA from Syracuse University. He was employed as a Purchasing Agent with Hamilton Standard for many years.

David always hoped he was a good friend to all and has left a positive impact.

He is survived by his paternal aunt and uncle [names omitted]; three cousins [names omitted]. David's family would like to acknowledge [name omitted] for her tremendous aid to David over the last year as well as his very best friends, [names omitted] for spending countless hours with David.

The Graveside Service will be at 12:00pm- Noon on Monday, July 19, 2021; in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bridge Street, Suffield.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to: First Church of Christ, Congregational 81 High Street, Suffield, CT 06078 OR the ASPCA.
