Graveside Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday at Indian Field United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Howard Proveaux officiating.
Dorothy was born on December 13, 1944, in Manning, SC, a daughter of the late George William and Maude Alice Cutter Childers. She was a member of the St. George Pentecostal Holiness Church and a homemaker. She was predeceased by siblings, George Edward Childers, Jeanette C. Smoak, James William Childers, Louis Thomas Childers, John Alvin Childers, Charles Childers; grandchildren, Joshua Savage and Carl Alewine.
Surviving is her husband of 47 years, John S. Murray, Jr., Harleyville; sons, John Cecil (Theresa) Savage, Dorchester and John Sims Murray, III, Harleyville; daughters, Alice (James) Clark, Brenda (Ricky) Littell and Barbara Annette (John) Moody, all of Harleyville; sisters, Betty C.
