On October 23, 2015 Benjamin H. Barker made the journey home to be with his wife, Gail A. Barker, who passed nearly 10 years prior. He is also now reunited with his parents, William (Jen) Barker and Margrette Barker(Dulex); infant siblings; granddaughter, Lily; and his best friend, Dana Houts.

He is survived by his children: Angela Wisneski (Chad), Lee Wisneski (Sarah); grandchildren: Ally, Cole, Ethan, Jameson and Gavin; sisters: Mary Poppe (Rick), Jane Speaks; brothers: Bill Barker (Roxy) and Marty Barker; Nieces and Nephews, especially Matthew Poppe (Rachel), Andrew Poppe and Chris Barker.

Ben wore many hats over the years (literally and figuratively) whether it was grilling brats at the Super America brat fry, playing handyman, delivering flowers, or working at the Settle Inn. His favorite hat of all was red and white. As Santa's helper at Piggly Wiggly among other places, he found his calling. This role came naturally to him due to his big beard, warm heart and love for children. He also enjoyed being outdoors and lighting up the July sky. He will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

A memorial service for Ben will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Inurnment will be with Gail at Highland Memorial Park.

Papa, we all miss you.
