Was a member of a pioneer San Luis Obispo family. Parents were John J. Weimer and Refugio Higuera Weimer. Higuera Street, one of the most important, largest thorofare in San Luis Obispo was named after his family. He is survived by daughters, Mrs Grace Munoz of Santa Maria, Mrs. Bessie Mallard of Bakersfield, Mrs. Lenora Ortiz of San Francisco and sons, Robert J. Weimer of Spreckles, and Edward and Michael J. Weimer both of San Luis Obispo. Also he is survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was a resident of French Road in San Luis Obispo. Requiem Mass was celebrated in Old Mission Church prior to burial. R.F. Richardson, undertakers, cared for the arrangements.
