Johnny Price
CORINTH - Johnny David Price, 60, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born Dec. 6, 1946, in Alcorn County to James David and Clara Burcham Price. He was a graduate of Alcorn Central High School Class of 1965. He served with the 1st Calvary Combat Engineering Infantry in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting arrowheads, fishing and going to the Omlette House for coffee and visiting with everyone there.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Corinthian Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Warren Jones and Olan Burcham officiating. Burial will be in Burcham Family Cemetery at Rienzi.
Survivors include his mother, Clara Price of Rienzi; one son, David Earl Price of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters, Lowanda Laier and Andy, and Georgiana Chase, all of Glen; two brothers, Eddie Price and Joy of Rienzi, and Joe Price of Independence; two sisters, Diane Houston and Mark, and Jeannie Lafever and Larry, all of Rienzi; grandchildren, Zack Haynie, Jacob Price, Cody and Kaylee Chase, Tray Grissom and Tyler Laier; a special aunt, Linda Knight; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Price; his father, James David Price; his grandparents, Clyde and Eva Burcham, and Earl and Susie Price; and an aunt, Christine Featherstone.
Pallbearers will be Lane Burcham, Nathan Knight, Sammy Fortenberry, Harold Essary, Jay Essary and Jacob Price.
Visitation will continue at the funeral home.
