He fought a hard battle against Pancreatic Cancer, but finally died of the side effects of the treatment. His immune system suppressed, he developed two types of sepsis, but proudly proclaimed he had had the Covid vaccine as soon as he was eligible and he protected others who may be more vulnerable. He loved his family and friends and they loved him. He was a child in his heart and got joy from The Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Red Wings, Helping others find their way at a Mensa AG, and just being helpful in general.
